Immortal Romance: the short verdict
Immortal Romance is a big name with a small public footprint. Games Global lists it as the root of a whole Stormcraft Studios franchise, yet publishes no RTP, volatility, layout or bet range for the original, so nobody can honestly hand you its numbers. Try the demo, read the help screen and note the RTP your casino runs before you commit real money. If you want a published spec sheet first, pick a fully documented slot instead.

This Immortal Romance review starts with something most review pages skip: the provider has not published the original game's spec sheet. Games Global lists Immortal Romance in its Stormcraft Studios series and has built a whole franchise on the name, but the original's return to player, volatility, reel layout, bet range and maximum win are not on any public page we found. The detailed sheets sit behind a login meant for casino operators.
So instead of repeating numbers of unknown origin, this page does three things. It sets out what is confirmed, shows you how to read the missing figures from the game yourself, and explains how to pick a Canadian casino where the version you play is worth playing. Every slot carries a house edge; play for fun, 19+ (18+ in AB, MB and QC).
Immortal Romance review: what is confirmed and what isn't
Two sources describe the game publicly. Games Global names it as part of its Stormcraft Studios series, and the Stormcraft Studios franchise page shows the original title among its siblings - with artwork, but without figures. Everything else that circulates online comes from somewhere we cannot verify, so it stays off this page.
| Detail | Public status | Where you can read it |
|---|---|---|
| Provider and series | Confirmed: Games Global, Stormcraft Studios series | Games Global and Stormcraft Studios websites |
| Franchise titles | Confirmed: six related games listed | Stormcraft Studios franchise page |
| Return to player (RTP) | Not published | Help screen of the build at your casino |
| Volatility | Not published | Help screen, if the build states it |
| Reels, rows and win lines | Not published | Paytable inside the game |
| Bet range | Not published | Bet selector in the game |
| Maximum win | Not published | Rules or help screen |
| Bonus features | Not published | Paytable and feature pages in the game |
The spec chips at the top of this page show a dash for every blank in that table. It looks less impressive than a full row of numbers, but a dash is honest, and a borrowed number could describe a different version of the game, a different market or a remastered release.
The Immortal Romance slot machine and the franchise it started
Few slot names have been stretched as far as this one. Stormcraft Studios lists these related titles alongside the original:
- Immortal Romance II
- Immortal Romance Mega Moolah
- Immortal Romance Vein of Gold
- Immortal Romance Sarah's Secret Power Combo
- Immortal Romance Assembl'em
- Immortal Romance II King Millions
When Games Global announced Immortal Romance II in April 2024, it said the sequel arrived "after twelve long years". That phrase tells you the original had held its place for more than a decade before a direct follow-up appeared - a long life for a slot. It does not tell you anything about the original's maths, and the sequel is a separate game with its own rules, so its figures should never be read across to the first one.
Which version are you looking at?
Casino lobbies often show several of these titles side by side, with near-identical artwork. Before you play, check the full name on the tile and inside the game. The Mega Moolah version is tied to the networked jackpot described on our Mega Moolah page; Vein of Gold, Sarah's Secret Power Combo and Assembl'em are spin-offs with their own mechanics. This page covers the original Immortal Romance only.
How to read the game yourself in a few minutes
When the provider's public data is thin, the game is its own best manual. Every licensed slot has to show its rules and paytable to the player, and that information is far more reliable than a figure copied between websites. Here is a routine that works for this title and for any other slot with a missing spec sheet.
- Open the menu. Load the demo or the real-money game and tap the "i", the question mark or the menu icon.
- Find the RTP line. It is usually near the end of the rules. Write the number down, and note if the rules list more than one figure.
- Read the paytable. Count the reels and rows, see whether wins are formed on lines or across ways, and note the top-paying symbol and the wild.
- Read the feature pages. Look for what triggers the bonus round, what it awards, and whether it can retrigger.
- Check the bet selector. Note the smallest and largest stake the build accepts in C$.
- Look for a maximum-win clause. Many games state a cap in the rules. If yours does, that is the ceiling for your session.
Repeat steps 2 and 5 on the real-money version at your casino before you deposit. Demo builds and casino builds are not always set up identically, and the version at your casino is the one whose numbers apply to your money.
Turning what you find into a decision
Once you have the figures, put them to work. Compare the RTP with a documented title such as 9 Masks of Fire, whose provider publishes 96.24%: a lower number means a higher theoretical cost per C$ wagered. If the rules state a volatility label, use it to pick a stake from the bankroll table further down. And if they state a maximum win as a multiple of the stake, multiply it by your bet to see the real ceiling in C$ for your session.
Immortal Romance slot demo: play it free first
The Immortal Romance slot demo on this page is the play-money version supplied by Games Global. The balance is pretend, so there is nothing to deposit and nothing to withdraw. It is the best way to play Immortal Romance free and to work through the reading routine above without any pressure.
The demo is good for:
- learning the screen, the buttons and where the rules are kept;
- seeing how the features are presented when they trigger;
- deciding whether you like the look, sound and pace before spending anything.
Games Global runs its demos from its own servers, and they do not load in every region or browser. If the game frame stays empty or reports an error, nothing is wrong with your device; the provider is simply not serving the demo to your location at that moment.
Short demo sessions can mislead
A few dozen demo spins say very little about how the game pays over time. Results are random, and a short run can look generous or stingy purely by chance. Use the demo to understand the game, not to predict what a real-money session will return. The only long-run figure that matters is the RTP stated in the rules.
Why the RTP of your casino's version matters
Providers often certify several versions of the same slot with different return-to-player settings, and each casino decides which one it runs. The player sees the same reels either way. Because Games Global has not published the Immortal Romance figures, a real example from our catalogue shows what is at stake: Hacksaw Gaming publishes four RTP versions of Le Bandit.
| RTP version | Theoretical return per C$1,000 wagered | Theoretical cost per C$1,000 wagered |
|---|---|---|
| 96.34% | C$963.40 | C$36.60 |
| 94.23% | C$942.30 | C$57.70 |
| 92.17% | C$921.70 | C$78.30 |
| 88.36% | C$883.60 | C$116.40 |
Eight percentage points of RTP more than triple the theoretical cost of play. Whatever the Immortal Romance versions turn out to be, the same logic applies: the figure in your casino's help screen decides how fast the house edge works on your money. These are long-run averages over a very large number of spins, so a single session can land far above or below them. Our RTP and volatility page explains the idea in more depth.

Bankroll planning when the volatility is unknown
Volatility describes how a slot's return is spread out: many small wins, or long dry spells broken by occasional big ones. With no published rating for Immortal Romance, the sensible default is to plan for bigger swings than you hope for. That means a stake small enough that a cold run does not end the session in minutes.
One simple rule is to stake between 1% and 2% of your session budget per spin. The table shows what that looks like; confirm that your casino's build accepts the stake before you rely on it.
| Session budget | Cautious stake (1%) | Spins covered | Bolder stake (2%) | Spins covered |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| C$50 | C$0.50 | 100 | C$1 | 50 |
| C$100 | C$1 | 100 | C$2 | 50 |
| C$200 | C$2 | 100 | C$4 | 50 |
Two more habits help:
- Decide a loss limit and a time limit before the first spin, and set a deposit limit in your casino account.
- If you are ahead, move part of the win out of play rather than raising the stake to chase a bigger one.
None of this changes the house edge. It only controls how long your money lasts and how much a bad run can hurt.
Immortal Romance casinos in Canada
Where you can play for real money depends on your province. Ontario has its own regulated market: private casinos register with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario and operate through iGaming Ontario. Alberta opened its own regulated market on 13 July 2026, open to operators registered with AGLC. In the other provinces, the regulated online option is a provincially run site. The legal age is 19, except in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec, where it is 18. Our playing in Canada guide goes through each province.
When you compare Immortal Romance online casinos, look at these points rather than the size of the welcome banner:
- the casino is regulated for the province you are in;
- the lobby carries the original Immortal Romance, not only the sequel or a spin-off;
- the game's help screen states its RTP, so you can compare it with other casinos;
- deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion are easy to find in your account;
- deposits and withdrawals are handled in C$.
Picking an online casino: Immortal Romance titles to tell apart
Because the franchise shares one name, the same casino may list the original, Immortal Romance II and the Mega Moolah jackpot version on one row. They are different games with different maths. If you looked up the original's rules in the demo, make sure that is also the tile you open with real money.
Immortal Romance slot online: how it compares in our catalogue
If you play the Immortal Romance slot online and want something from the same stable, these titles in our catalogue come from Games Global or its studios. The public information varies a lot from game to game:
| Game | Studio | What the provider publishes |
|---|---|---|
| Immortal Romance | Stormcraft Studios series | Franchise listing only |
| Thunderstruck II | Stormcraft Studios series | Released 2010; several free spins modes to unlock; Wildstorm can turn up to 5 reels wild |
| Mega Moolah | Games Global | Running since 2006 on the Mega Moolah progressive network |
| 9 Masks of Fire | Gameburger Studios | RTP 96.24%, medium volatility, 5 reels, 3 rows, 20 paylines |
| Gold Blitz | Fortune Factory Studios | RTP 96.00%, high volatility, 6 reels, 4 rows, 4,096 ways |
Thunderstruck II is the natural partner: same series, an older release date that is on the record, and a feature set the provider describes in its own words. If you would rather play something where every number is published up front, Hacksaw's Le Bandit or Reel Kingdom's Bigger Bass Splash come with full figures. The rest is in our slot catalogue.
Who should play Immortal Romance
The original suits you if you:
- know the franchise and want the game the series grew from;
- are happy to spend a few minutes in the rules screen before you play;
- like to try a slot in demo mode before deciding on real money.
Look elsewhere if you need a provider-published RTP, volatility rating and maximum win before you start, or if you are playing to win back losses. Slots are paid entertainment; set your limits and treat any win as a bonus.

What works and what does not
Pros
- The original title of a Games Global franchise that has grown to six related games
- A long-running game: its sequel arrived after twelve long years, according to Games Global
- Free play-money demo to read the rules and paytable before any deposit
- A separate Mega Moolah version of the franchise exists for players who want a networked jackpot
- Sister games in the same series, such as Thunderstruck II, sit in our catalogue
Cons
- No RTP, volatility, layout, bet range or max win published publicly for the original
- Feature rules are not described on the provider's public pages
- The Games Global demo may not load in every region
- Several franchise titles share the name, which makes it easy to open the wrong game
How the feature works
Games Global and Stormcraft Studios do not publish the original Immortal Romance's feature rules, reel layout or bonus trigger on their public pages, and the detailed game sheet sits behind an operator login. The game's own paytable and feature pages, reached through the menu in the demo or real-money version, are the only reliable description of how its bonus works. We do not describe features we cannot verify.
