JetX: the short verdict
JetX is a fast, social crash game with a clear idea: the longer you wait, the more you can win, and the more you can lose. SmartSoft's RTP range of 96.2% to 98.9% is good, but the exact figure depends on your casino, so check it. Multiple bets per round and auto cash-out give you real control over risk. It suits players who enjoy quick decisions and can stick to a plan when the multiplier keeps rising.

JetX Canada players know it as one of the original crash games: SmartSoft Gaming launched it in 2018. A jet takes off, a multiplier climbs from 1.01x, and you choose when to cash out. If the jet explodes before you collect, the bet is lost. Every player in the round watches the same flight, so the screen fills with other people's bets and cash-outs as it rises.
This guide covers how a round works, how one, two or four bets per round change your options, why the RTP is a range rather than one number, what the 25,000x ceiling and the win cap mean in Canadian dollars, which strategies are honest and which are myths, and where you can play legally across the provinces. The free demo above lets you try it with play money first.
How a JetX round works
JetX runs in shared rounds. A short betting window opens, everyone places their stakes, and the jet takes off for all players at once. From that moment the multiplier rises steadily, and your only decision is when to press cash out.
- Place your bet before take-off. Stakes go in during the betting window, before the jet leaves.
- Watch the multiplier. It starts at the minimum of 1.01x and climbs as the jet flies.
- Cash out manually or automatically. Press the button at any moment, or set an auto cash-out at a chosen multiplier before the round starts.
- Collect or lose. If you cash out in time, you win your stake times the multiplier at that moment. If the jet explodes first, the stake is gone.
Your cash-out timing changes only your own result. Other players collecting early or late has no effect on your bet, and nobody can steer the jet.
What you see on screen
Alongside the jet, JetX shows a live list of bets and cash-outs, the multipliers of previous rounds and a moderated player chat. These make it feel social, but they are information about the past and about other people, not a guide to the next flight.
JetX betting with one, two or four bets
The most useful control in JetX betting is the number of bets you run in a single round. The game lets you place one, two or four bets at once, with four available in the New Era of JetX, the current version SmartSoft launched in September 2026. Each bet has its own stake and its own cash-out, so one flight can be played several ways at once.
A common setup with two bets looks like this:
- Bet one with an auto cash-out at a low multiplier, aiming to return the stake often.
- Bet two left running longer, cashed out by hand or set to a much higher target.
This spreads the outcome of each round, but it does not improve the long-run return. Two bets are simply two wagers, each with the same house edge. They also double your spend per round, which is easy to forget when the game moves this fast.
Autoplay and auto cash-out
Advanced Autoplay repeats your bets round after round, and Auto Cashout collects at a multiplier you set in advance. Used together, they remove the temptation to wait "just a bit longer", which is where many crash-game losses come from. Set a limit on the number of rounds whenever you use autoplay.
MegaDrop, jackpots and the JetX game bonus question
JetX has no bonus round, free spins or feature buy. The MegaDrop and jackpot tools that some versions show are promotions run by the casino on top of the game. So when people talk about a JetX game bonus, they mean a casino promotion with that casino's own terms, not something inside the game itself.
Why the RTP is a range: 96.2% to 98.9%
Most games publish one return-to-player figure. SmartSoft's rules for JetX give a range instead: from 96.2% to 98.9%, depending on how the game is configured. The casino chooses the setting, which means the same game can carry a different house edge from one site to the next.
In Canadian dollars the difference looks like this. Over a very large number of rounds:
| Configured RTP | Average return per C$100 staked | House edge per C$100 |
|---|---|---|
| 98.9% | C$98.90 | C$1.10 |
| 96.2% | C$96.20 | C$3.80 |
The gap between the top and bottom settings is C$2.70 for every C$100 you stake. In a fast game where you might place many bets per hour, that adds up. Look for the RTP in the game's rules screen at your casino. Our RTP and volatility guide explains why the figure is a long-run average and says little about one session.
High volatility and the 25,000x ceiling
SmartSoft rates JetX as high volatility. In a crash game that shows up as many rounds that end at low multipliers, with the occasional very long flight. A plan that waits for big multipliers will lose many bets in a row before one pays.
The demo's Game limits panel lists a maximum multiplier of 25,000x and a win cap of 10,000 per bet, with stakes from 0.10 to 100. Casinos can configure these limits, so treat them as an example. Here is what that combination means at a few C$ stakes, using the demo's numbers:
| Stake | 25,000x on paper | Multiplier at which a 10,000 cap applies |
|---|---|---|
| C$0.10 | C$2,500 | Never reached (needs 100,000x) |
| C$1 | C$25,000 | 10,000x |
| C$10 | C$250,000 | 1,000x |
| C$100 | C$2,500,000 | 100x |
At bigger stakes the cap matters more than the multiplier: at C$100, anything past 100x would pay the same capped amount under limits like the demo's. Check the limits shown in your casino's version before you aim high.
JetX strategy: what cash-out plans can and cannot do
Search for a JetX strategy and you will find systems, predictors and "safe" multipliers. The honest version is short. Each round is independent, nobody can see where it will end, and no plan changes the RTP your casino has configured. What a strategy can do is shape how your results are spread and how long your budget lasts.
Low targets versus high targets
A low cash-out target, say 1.5x, is reached in a large share of rounds but returns little each time, and one early explosion wipes out several small wins. A high target, say 10x, pays much more per win but fails far more often. Over the long run both approaches face the same house edge. Choose the one whose swings you are comfortable with.
Habits that help
- Decide your cash-out targets before the session and set them as auto cash-outs.
- Keep each stake small against your budget, because high volatility means losing streaks.
- Ignore the round history. Previous multipliers do not make the next one more or less likely.
- Never double up after a loss to "get it back". That raises spending, not your chances.
- Set a time limit. Rounds are short, and an hour can mean a very large number of bets.
A worked budget example
Say you bring C$50 to a session and play two bets of C$0.50 each round. That is C$1 per flight, so your budget covers 50 rounds if nothing comes back. Switch to four bets and the same C$50 lasts 25 rounds. Writing this down before you start makes it obvious how quickly multi-bet play uses up a budget, and when it is time to stop.
JetX is entertainment with a house edge. Paid "signals" and predictor apps cannot know where a round will end, so do not pay for them.

Play JetX online for free first
You can play JetX online for free in the demo above, which is SmartSoft's own version. It loads with a play-money balance and works like the real game: shared rounds, the live bets list, multiple bets, autoplay and auto cash-out. The demo does not show a currency code, and the balance cannot be withdrawn.
Use the free version to learn how the controls feel at speed. A few practical tests:
- Run a set of rounds with one bet and a fixed auto cash-out, and watch how the balance moves.
- Add a second bet with a higher target and compare how much more volatile the session feels.
- Open the rules screen and find the limits and the RTP setting the version displays.
- If your version offers four bets, run a short session with all four active and see how much faster the play balance moves when every flight carries four stakes.
- Try cashing out by hand on a few rounds instead of using auto cash-out, and notice how hard it is to stop at your planned multiplier while the number is still rising.
The demo cannot tell you whether you will win for real. What it can tell you is whether the pace suits you, and whether you are able to cash out at your planned point when the multiplier is still climbing.
JetX Canada: where you can play legally
Online casino rules in Canada are set by each province, so the place you can play JetX for real money depends on where you live.
- Ontario: private online casinos registered with the AGCO and operating through iGaming Ontario can serve players in the province. Their lobbies show which crash games they carry.
- Alberta: a regulated market since 13 July 2026; operators must be registered with AGLC.
- The rest of Canada: each province runs its own online casino; casinos licensed outside Canada also accept players, but no province licenses them.
- Age: 19+ in most provinces, 18+ in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec.
Not every casino offers SmartSoft games, so check the lobby first. Before you deposit, confirm the site shows its licence, offers Canadian payment methods, and gives you deposit limits and self-exclusion tools. Look at the RTP in the JetX rules screen as well, since the configured figure can differ between casinos. Our Canada guide covers the provincial setup in more detail.
JetX games compared with other crash titles
SmartSoft has built several JetX games over the years. The original is now joined by the New Era of JetX, the current version with up to four bets per round, and by JetX3, a separate title. Among other studios, the closest rivals in our crash games hub follow the same rising-multiplier idea with their own twists:
| Game | Provider | Published RTP | Max win | Bet tools |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| JetX | SmartSoft Gaming | 96.2% - 98.9% | 25,000x (demo) | Up to 4 |
| Aviator | Spribe | 97% | No max multiplier published | Up to 2 |
| Spaceman | Pragmatic Play | 95% | 5,000x | Double bet, 50% cash-out |
| Big Bass Crash | Pragmatic Play | 95.50% | 5,000x | Double bet, 50% cash-out |
JetX stands out for its higher ceiling and the option of four separate bets, while Spaceman and Big Bass Crash let you bank half a bet and let the rest ride. If you prefer to set the pace yourself instead of racing a shared clock, the single-player Chicken Road and Mines keep the cash-out tension without the countdown.
Who JetX suits
JetX suits players who like short, intense rounds and enjoy the shared feel of a crash game: other players' bets, the chat and the rising multiplier all on one screen. It rewards planning, because auto cash-outs and multiple bets let you set your risk before the jet leaves the ground.
It is less suited to anyone who finds it hard to stop. The rounds are quick, the next one always starts within seconds, and high volatility means losing streaks are part of normal play. If that pace pushes you to chase losses, a slower game is the better choice. Try the demo, find the RTP your casino has set, and keep every session inside a budget you decided in advance.

What works and what does not
Pros
- RTP range of 96.2% to 98.9%, high at the top setting
- One, two or four bets per round, each with its own cash-out
- Auto cash-out and advanced autoplay make a plan easy to follow
- 25,000x ceiling in the demo limits, five times the 5,000x of Spaceman and Big Bass Crash
- Live bets, round history and chat make it feel social
Cons
- The RTP depends on your casino's setting, so you have to check it
- High volatility means long runs of early explosions
- Quick rounds make it easy to overspend without noticing
- Win caps per bet limit what high multipliers pay at big stakes
How the game works
JetX has no bonus round. Each shared round opens with a betting window; once the jet takes off, the multiplier rises from 1.01x until the jet explodes. Cash out before then and you win your stake times the current multiplier; otherwise the bet is lost. You can play one, two or four bets per round, each with its own auto cash-out. The demo lists a maximum multiplier of 25,000x and a win cap per bet.
